i am retrieving data from text file using utl_file. My max data length is 15 chars. I retrived the data using substr. but now the problem is that it contains the trailing spaces. When i am printing those values to a text file i dont want to print the trailing spaces. How to neglect the trailing spaces?

for example there is a data "dgfdtrd" as i m geting the data by substr it contains 8 trailing spaces.
