Hi,

I created ap_invoice form using ap_invoices_v& ap_invoice_distributions_v. when i am inserting i am getting error like

ora-01779: can't modify a column which maps to nonkeypreserved.

we cann't insert the data directly into view.we use generally INSTEAD OF trigger. But In forms what we have to do. please help me.

These are complex views and having joins with hell out of tables. I don't think you can do an insert without having INSTEAD OF trigger.

In forms you can use ON-INSERT trigger.
