HI all,

Iam inserting set of rows in a table.the row format is like this.

INSERT INTO PARAMETERMASTER ( CODEID, CODE, DESCRIPTION, CODETYPE, REMARKS, CREATEDID,
CREATEDDATETIME, UPDATEDID, UPDATEDDATETIME ) VALUES (
'254', '11', 'Lucknow', '02', 'Uttaranchal & Uttar Pradesh', 'ADMIN', TO_Date( '06/20/2004 12:00:00 AM', 'MM/DD/YYYY HH:MI:SS AM')
, 'ADMIN', TO_Date( '06/20/2004 12:00:00 AM', 'MM/DD/YYYY HH:MI:SS AM'));[/tab]

while inserting most of the rows are not having & in the remarks column.so, they are getting inserted perfectly.whenever a row with & attatched in remarks field it is asking to enter .Everytime i have to enter what data is missing.Any other option is there to make my insert take less time.
