Dear All,
I have x procedure in schema scott , which takes very large time to execute , I want to reduce the execution time I have applied all the performance tuning techniques, but because long runnig transaction it take min 3 hrs to run. can sombody guide how do i put the procdure in Shared pool , so that I reduce the execution time .

The procedure is always in memory when you execute it.
It is not loading the procedure that takes time.

Search in your algorithm the spent time is there.

As Michel aready pointed - your problem is not going to be solved by DBMS_SHARED_POOL.

Run trace and post TKPROF.
