This is just to share with all of you.

Materialized Views can create magic in your applications as for as performace is concerned.

Attached herewith a SQL file to compare normal view and materialized view.

Did you also try to update/delete/insert rows from your x3_bhs_mv_big_tab table?

Maybe you should add following sequence to your test-case:

UPDATE x3_bhs_mv_big_tab <some rows> ;

DELETE x3_bhs_mv_big_tab <some rows> ;

INSERT INTO x3_bhs_mv_big_tab <some rows> ;
