hi experts,

I wana setup Oracle RAC with SAN (IBM TS4800), plz guide me what file system shoud I use for Oracle RAC. I'll be happy if you give some links explaining about configuiring SAN with Oracle RAC.

Dear Sir,
I was going through the document:

there they have suggested that for IBM platform, GPFS is recomended, but you suggested that OCFS is okay, kindly explain this. as I am going to use IBM pseries servers with IBM TS4800 SAN and Im using LinuxAS 5 not AIX.

That's why it helps to provide all the pertinent information from the beginning. You didn't make any mention initially of what platform you were deploying on.

In your case, you could use OCFS or GPFS, however, I didn't see where the link you provide actually stipulates GPFS is recommended over OCFS. I can't really suggest one over the other.
