I have to print some data into a text file according to the format given.There are some data in some tables and some are hard coded.I have gathered the data from tables but how to print them into text file?

If I understood correct, then you want to send data from oracle to text file.
you can use "SPOOL" option.

i HAVE TO DO IT IN A PROCEDURE.SPOOL IS NOT WORKING IN PLSQL.

Caps Lock key is stuck in the ON position; please get it fixed.
How is any one else besides you supposed to know about ant PL/SQL requirement when you POST in a SQL forum & do NOT mention PL/SQL?????????


Use UTL_FILE!
