Hi,

htp.tableRowOpen;
htp.tableData('&nbsp');
htp.tableData(htf.formTextareaOpen2('v_Description', '2', '85', NULL, 'Y')||v_Description||htf.formTextareaClose);
htp.tableRowClose;

I am creating one Textarea in UI using this code, but it is enabled. I want the textarea should be disabled, only data from table is displayed one cannot change the data, which attribute/option should i use?

It is useless to report your post to get attention and it is against the rule and will be counter-productive.

Read OraFAQ Forum Guide.

It is an HTML question, actually. You have the DISABLED attribute if I'm not mistaken.

DISABLED attribute doesnt work here. It is actually with normal TEXTAREA tag which is used in HTML.

And this is not HTML question. Actually HTP Oracle supplied package helps me to create html page through Oracle object like procedure.

That is the reason I have posted this message over here.

Thanks.

I know MOD PLSQL. I've used it myself on several occasions but it has been a while. Most procedures/functions in htp/htf allow you to use HTML attributes. If I see it correctly, you have an extra parameter in htf.formareaopen2 called 'cattributes'. Does this work for you?
htf.FORMTEXTAREAOPEN2( cname          => 'v_Description'
                     , nrows          => '2'
                     , ncolumns       => '85'
                     , calign         => NULL
                     , cwrap          => 'Y'
                     , cattrributes   => 'DISABLED'
                     );

Thanks Maaher

It was a spelling mistake in cattributes.

The problem is solved.

Thanks.
