hi all
my all services are running on windows xp including dbconsole
but i can not access oem . when i installed my database on XP it was running but it is not accessible.
http://localhost:1158/em is not accessing the desired page.

i did follwoing thigs
1. emctl start dbconsole
2.it asked me to set ORACLE_SID= so i set it ot "orcl"
3.then again i said "emctl start dbconsole"
it gives me the following error
"OC4j configuration issue. C:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\oc4j\j2ee\oc4j_dbconsole_192.168.2.32_oracle not found"
however i can access oracle through sql*plus

what should i do next to start OEM

You have first configure your database for em dbconsole.

Dear Muhammad taj
i did it and it was configured. i worked 15 minutes again it is not accessible.
this time i was given this address "http://192.168.2.32:5500/em"
now
1. emctl start dbconsole says "started"
2.emctl status says(oem 10g not running)
also above http link is not working

what happend again?
Please help me

Did you check log files ?
1. emoms.trc
2. emagent.trc
Located: %oracle_home%\db_1\hostname_sid\sysman\log

Dear All
i configured oem again and it gave me new port address
http://192.168.2.32:5500/em. when i worked 15 minuts on it, again it is stoped and not accessable. what real problem is there with my 10g database which is accessable through other applications and all services are running.

need help

Re-Create your OEM Console


set oracle_sid=SIDNAME

emca -config dbcontrol db -repos recreate
