Event_log size too big [message #282035]

Hi there,

yesterday my event_log size (ORACLE_HOME\webcache\logs\event_log)
was in KBytes. And today it was about 180 GB. I run some jobs at night, but it was never that big. Could anyone help me figuring out, wht it grew that fast in just one day. I don't have much knowledge abt application servers.
Is there anyway to limit the size of event_log.
any help would greatly be appreciated.
