So you have a CSV file and you want to make it an Excel file? Where does Oracle come into play?

You'll need to create a CSV file by selecting some values from Oracle database. The simplest way to do that would be spooling result of a SELECT statement into a file.

If you choose to use semi-colon (;) as a delimiter, and even use .CSV extension with the output file, MS Excel will not even ask you a thing, but open this file by default and put every column you've selected into its own worksheet column.
