we are using a comma delimited excel file as input, optionally enclosed by '"'. if one field contains data with comma enclosed within double quotes eg "nigdi chauk, pune" then there is a error because of comma after chauk, how to remove dat error

There should be no error.

This is a real Excel file. SQL*Loader does not understand it. You have to save your file in a CSV format.
