James Bond said that the world is not enough; similarly, this hint is not enough - it also depends on NLS settings. In my database, your hint gives

./fa/3323/0/

Database and client NLS_LANG character sets must support
the euro/pound symbols.

Hi..
Thanks for the valuable information..

NLS_LANGUAGE in my DB is "AMERICAN".

Now I have a doubt....
I have a Form, through which I am saving some data in .txt format from my application. In that form, I use chr(10) and chr(13) for new lines. If the NLS_LANGUAGE in different DataBases are different, then will it work properly?
If no,is there any other method for this?.

Regards
Sasi

I believe CHR(10) and CHR(13) will work properly.
