Hi,

Can you please tell me how do we use the function, 'Prior(i)' in associative array. My program considers only the last element in the array. I used it just before the end of the loop.To go back to the previous index (cell), we generally use prior. But it does not work in my program. Please suggest.

I do not see any problem with PRIOR function, when used as described in Looping Through Collection Elements (PRIOR and NEXT Methods) chapter of PL/SQL User's Guide and Reference.

So you do not use it properly.
I always wonder what this "does not work" behaviour is. Does it raise an exception? Restart whole server? Anything else?
Without more details (eg. testcase demonstrating this, with given and expected output), I do not suppose you get more helpful answers.
