I guess you have tried the copy_region and paste_region built-ins

Hey,

yes i had tested the paste_region build in, its the same
all data are in one Field. I don't use the copy_region,
because the data came from excel and i make a normal copy
to the clipoard in excel.

Consider this: add a when-mouse-doubleclick trigger to the item into which you are placing the data. In this trigger, move the data into a local variable, parse it for '|', and place the data pieces into the items you require, you do a 'create_record' to add new records.

Hi!

I'm trying to implement the solution suggested by djmartin, but my problem is that I get FRM-40218 error using procedure PASTE_REGION (Forms 6i, EBS 11.5.9).

Any help!?

Thanks a lot in advance,
Jose.

Googling 'FRM-40218' returned http://www.experts-exchange.com/Database/Oracle/Product_Info/Q_20576270.html

Does the described machine configuration reflect your configuration?
