Which one is a better practice for inser into statement?

INSERT INTO /*+ append
or
INSERT/*+ append/ INTO

None, both is syntactically wrong.
What prevents you from checking the INSERT statement syntax in the documentation?
The hint position is stated there clearly.

I am not being able to find the exact answer as i couldn't find append hint in the htm doc.
Could you please tell me the exact syntax?

The exact syntax with example :
INSERT /*+ APPEND */ INTO t
SELECT * FROM all_objects;

You didn't search very weel. Just a click on "Contents" on top of page and then Ctl-F "hint" took you to the hints.

Are you really sure you want to play around with hints when you don't even know how a comment is formatted?
