hi,

i was just wondering if there can be anything done after we have run the COMMIT command to get the data back to the normal form... is there any way (even if it is painful) to undo the accidental use of COMMIT to rollback the changes?

You can use Flashback queries to see what the data looked like before the commit.

You can use Logminer.

You can restore last nights mackup to a new database, and do a point in time recovery to just before the commit.

There's probably a couple of other ideas as well.
