Why did Oracle stray from the column OWNER in DBA_SEQUENCES? [message #267770]

Did anyone ever wonder why almost all "owner" columns of the DBA_% tables are named OWNER (eg. DBA_TABLES, DBA_TRIGGERS, DBA_DIRECTORIES, etc.) yet for DBA_SEQUENCES they called it SEQUENCE_OWNER?

Did you ever have a slow day?

Why OWNER in DBA_TABLES and DBA_PART_TABLES, and TABLE_OWNER in DBA_TAB_PARTITIONS?...

Why DBA_TAB_PRIVS when it should be DBA_OBJ_PRIVS?...

Why TABLE_OWNER and TABLE_NAME in DBA_SYNONYMS, when it should be OBJECT_OWNER and OBJECT_NAEME?
