I am new to SQL and also PL/SQL. I have a table which I need to filter data. I need to write a statement that will filter an email address on domain name. So basically it will show everything after the @ in the email address. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a field named email_addr and an email address that is example@domain.com. I need to be able to write a statement that will filter this so that when my query runs I will get everything after the @ back(domain.com)

Being new is not a reason for not reading the guidelines: OraFAQ Forum Guide
Anywhere you go there are rules, you have to follow them.

More it is just a question to have a sane mind.
For you, what is the purpose of a title? What is the utility of a title like "Help" or "Hi"? If everyone post these kinds of title, it is better to remove the title.

Regards
Michel

I appreciate what you have said and I will in the future try to think of an appropriate title. For future reference please advice me of a title I should have used so that I may have as an example.

Why not something like "filtering an email address on domain name".
Isn't it the core of your question?
