Hi,
I have a partitioned table Tab1 with local indexes. And a non-partitioned table TAB2 without any indexes.

Now if I exchange the TAB1's one partition with TAB2
using
"ALTER TABLE TAB1 EXCHANGE PARTITION P1 WITH TABLE TAB2", my indexes a re going unusable and forces me to rebuild the index. Is there any option to keep index valid while exchanging itself.
(Like we have UPDATE GLOBAL INDEXES for Global indexes).

thanks in advance,
SG

Yes, create the index on the table you want to exchange with.
