Hi Experts,

I have this problem on my system, actually I have 2 hard drives
C(main) and E(slave) but when i formatted and re-install windows
my C hard drive turned E and E turned C. D is my CD drive.

Now I partioned my main hard drive E to F, G, & H and installed
oracle on G.

Now if I try to open SQLPLUS, RMAN, EXPDP or IMPDP from
Command Prompt it gives me this message:

'SQLPLUS' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

Please what do I do?

Thanks in advance.

Check if %ORACLE_HOME%\bin is in your PATH.

You could always change active directory to %ORACLE_HOME%\BIN and run those programs from there.

Could you do the following (so that we could SEE how it looks like)?
Open Windows Explorer, navigate to BIN directory of your ORACLE_HOME and copy-paste the whole path to it (for example,

C:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\BIN).

Now go to Control Panel, open run System, go to Advanced tab, Environment Variables, Edit PATH variable and copy-paste its contents (for example,

%path%;C:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\bin;C:\oracle\product\90401\dev_suit\jdk\jre\bin\classic;C:\oracle\product\90401\dev_suit\jdk\jr e\bin;C:\oracle\product\90401\dev_suit\jdk\jre\bin\client;C:\oracle\product\90401\dev_suit\jlib;C:\oracle\product\90401\dev_suit\bin; C:\oracle\product\90401\dev_suit\jre\1.1.8\bin;%SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem;C:\Program Files\ATI Technologies\ATI Control Panel;)

Thanks. Everything is fine now.

I set the path as:
'G:\oracle\base\home\bin;G:\oracle\base\home\jre\1.4.2\bin\client;G:\oracle\base\home\jre\1.4.2\bin;%ORACLE_HOME%\bin'
and it's now fine.

Accept my gratitude.

Stay blessed.
