Hi,
I have doubt. Is there anything which we cant do without Nested Table,Varray stored as database column??

I dont get why these structures required, because they make it so complicated to manupulate individual elements.

Nothing.
Don't use them unless your manager forces you to use it.
You're right, it is more complicated, it is slower, it is difficult to use, quite impossible to optimize unless you use undocumented feature...
After all, Oracle is Relational DBMS not an Object one.
First normal form says each field must be atomic.
