how can i delete archive log files?

Hi,
which backup method your using.

1. RMAN

set retention policy
and
 backup archivelog all delete all input 


2. user managed backup

after taking valid database backup.

I am using RMAN...

i made retention policy 31 days.

Is it enough or not?

give some valuable advice

If you have sufficient disk space you can make it. Its up to you.
