I tried to create a view which will get data from database link:
Select * from Table@linkname.xx.xx
Then I am getting the ORA:00911 error invalid character.

I am gettign the result if I try like this: Select *from Table@linkname.xx.xx; in SQLPLUS.
Now I need to create a view with the above select statement.
Create View V1
select * from Table@linkname.xx.xx;

Now I am getting the ORA:00911 error invalid character.

whether I need to put double quotes around dot in link name to avoid that error.
Can any one help me on this.
Thanks in advance

You don't need and END; on a CREATE VIEW statement.
If that doesn't fix the problem, then (as Michel asks) show us what you've actually done.
