I have started working with a database server, where ORACLE 9.2.0 is the db and Redhat Enterprise 4.0 is the OS. Now somebody has installed Oracle with whom I cannot contact. I cannot find the Enterprise Manager console from GUI mode. If the OEM package is installed how to find it from GUI.

Please help me.

Thank you,
Sam G

Not exactly sure what you mean by "Enterprise Manager console from GUI mode". If you are just looking to launch the tool itself, ensure that you have your environment set correct and then run oemapp console.

I mean to say that --
1> How to check that if the Oracle Enterprise Manager Console is installed or not?

2> Now if it is install then how to launch the console?

Please say me how to do these two jobs in GUI mode.
If possible then also mention how to check it using commands only through terminal.

Thanking you,
Sam G
