i want to show a calender on my form's screen
to allow user to select date and month from it................


is it allowed in developer6i?????
beacause i m unable to find build-in clander
function in developer6i..

any idea???????

Search this forum for 'calendar' and also look at the Oracle Forms web site and look under 'Resources' there are entries for 'Sample Code', 'PJC' stuff and 'J2EE' stuff.

if you have loaded the Complete version of the Developement option of D2k, search for a file called Calendar.pll and calender.fmb

It has an inbuilt calender widget for forms. It is not a DLL.

Just in case, they are attached here...

Is it allowed to select only month and year from the calender not the date??????

if it is possible then plz tell me any solution how to do that.
Actually i want to select month and year in textbox from the calender,without date

Then place the returned date in a hidden field and do a 'to_char' to get the bits you want and store them as a character field perhaps.
