Hi,

Whenever i open the old report ,it asks me to compile everytime
even if i don't change the code.
when i run it pop ups a message saying uncompiled program unit exists.

Please can somebody tell me why its behaving like this.

Thanks
Srinivas

Try to (always!) use the COMPILE ALL (<Shift> + <Ctrl> + K) instead of (usual) INCREMENTAL (<Ctrl> + K). It will probably not help, but that's the best I can do at the moment.

Do you have both the 'rdf' and the 'rep' files? If so, get rid of the generated report and never generate them again.

I have both rdf and rep files.Do you mean i should remove rep files permanently and use only rdf.
And i got some thing on this.
When i remove all formula columns from report then it is working fine.
Any idea how to solve this.
Why it ask for compilation everytime when i add a small fromula column but when i remove it will not ask for compilation.

Any idea.

Concerning your question "Do you mean i should remove rep files permanently and use only rdf." Yes! When I said "get rid of the generated report and never generate them again" I meant 'get rid of the generated report and never generate them again'.

Have you used Ctrl-Shft-K on your report and then saved them?

Hi thanks for your solutions.
I got the solution.
In the procedure which call the report.
The report was refering different schema which does not have permission to select the tables.
So it was giving uncompiled error. But once i changed that to the present working schema its working fine.
