Am running two jobs called job1 and job2

job1 updating data's on a table

job2 retrieving the data from a table.

While retrieving the data i need older value not an update value.

for ex old value in the table as 1000 and update values as 2000
i need 1000 as o/p while running the job2 .

So, what kind of lock i have to use and how to implement ?

Simple: don't use intermittent commits in job1. Or start job2 prior to job1

Or call job2 at the end of job1 before your commit
