Hi,

I have installed oracle 10g in my PC. I opened administrative tools>services and started oracle service for my database. I am able to connect to my database if the oracle service for my database is in started state.

I am getting ORA-12560 TNS protocol adapter error, when I try to connect to my database after stopping the oracle service.

Could anyone let me know how to start oracle service for my database from command line.
