I would like to test out our in-house application working with Oracle 10gR2 and to be able to recommend this platform to clients with confidence.

Our current configuration is as follows:

VMS : 7.3-2
Oracle Client running on VMS : 9.2.0.5
Oracle Server running on NT : 9.2.0.6

A number of questions arise:-
1. What version of the Oracle Client needs to be installed on VMS to work with 10gR2 ?
2. Do we have to have an Oracle 10.2 Client on VMS ?
3. Could we use an Oracle 9.2.0.8 client - this is the last and the latest Oracle 9.2 version of the Server and Client ?
4. Could we even use the client software 9.2.0.5.? This is the version number of the client we currently run.

Anybody know any more about this?
