can any one tell me how to know the default settings of sql like
defalut date format,and default set commands options and all
pls let know the answer

SHOW ALL


For Oracle Initialization params
SHOW PARAMETER


For a restricted list of Oracle params (like NLS params)
SHOW PARAMETER NLS
