Hi to all,

when i am creating a table using with another table ther error is coming that ora-0997 illegal use of LONG data type.

In my parent table onle long column is there

how to create my child table using parent table(with long column)

plz send solution as soon as possible

No Operating System name or version.
No Oracle version to 4 decimal places.

LONG has been obsoleted. You should upgrade to 21st century.

Use PL/SQL is LONG is less than 32K.
Otherwise create your program (C, Java or what else).
