Setting Screen Resolution through form 6i Runtime [message #256383]

salaam o alaikum

I have designed a form for 800x600 screen resolution. When I set other resolutions it does not fit on screen.
Is there any way to get current screen resolution through Form Builder 6i at runtime.

Please provide me solution for this problem

Ummm ... are you saying that someone uses 640 x 480 resolution? Because, any resolution higher than the one you've mentioned (for example, 1024 x 768, 1680 x 1050, etc.) will be able to display your form easily.

However, you might try to maximize the window to fill the screen according to the display style of the window manager using

Set_Window_Property(FORMS_MDI_WINDOW, WINDOW_STATE, MAXIMIZE)

hi
no i have set the forms contents using 800x600 but if some one have greater are lower the system should set the resolution 800x600 only for forms runtime.

i tried using compatibility mode option in the properties of ifrun60.exe

but i could not find the setting to make the it by default 800x600 resolution.

Ah, so you would, actually, want to CHANGE resolution (as if someone - on MS Windows - changed screen settings)! I'm sorry, I wouldn't know how to do that.
