Hello
I have a 10g database with 12 tablespace , 40 user , more than 2000 table , i want copy database from server 1 to server2
with exp/imp . please help me how to this step bye step

Use datapump for better performance.
step1:Take export on your server A
step2:create database ,same tablespaces,users on server B.
step3:scp your export dmp to server B.
ster4:import your dump to server B.

You don't need to create tablespaces and users if you take a full export.
The import will recreate them.

Hi,

If you want to shift complete database then best approach is you should install oracle software on server B and through RMAN, COLD BACKUP shift Server A database to Server B.

or if you want to just shift application schema then you go with exp/imp tools.
