hi.. i have 1 query. can v alter dual table or can v insert additional rows into dual table?

I dont want to manipulate the table... but i encounterd this question in an interview.. n i said that it can be manipulated but this rights is only with DBA.. M i correct?

No.
You can't manipulate it.
It is Oracle proprietary.
If you modify it you are no more supported.
