Hi ...

While creating the database through create database command on command line setting shared_pool_size,db_cache_size,etc...

Will the SGA_MAX_SIZE will auto analyzed and adjusted calculating the respective sizes mentioned above variables in the init<sid>.ora file.

I haven't used the SGA_MAX_SIZE in the init<sid>.ora file , only shared_pool_size and db_cache_size,java_pool_size,pga_aggregate_target etc.,

??????? Smile
Cool

Hi

I yet to be created. This doubt before creating the database.
My question is that Is that we need to initialize the SGA_MAX_SIZE param in the init<sid>.ora file.
If not so what happens.

Oracle takes a default value.
