Signature is a very important term in s/w language, specially where object oriented concept is concerned. This term is closely related to Polymorphism. Polymorphism supports overloading a method with different signature (means same method name but difference in number or in datatype of formal parameters). At interview board when I answer using the term signature, immediately they ask me what do you mean by signature. Is the term signature not related to Oracle?
