Hi,
I am in the process of upgrading the oracle database from 9.2.0.8 to 10.2.0.3 on HP-UX PA RISC 64 bit machine.Does the patchset of 10.2.0.3 work directly to upgrade ,or the patch set has to be applied after upgrading to 10.2.0.1.Kindly guide regarding this.

Thanks,

You can download patches and patch set from metalink website.
or you have to first upgrade you database from 9i to 10gr2 after upgrading apply latest patchset for 10gr2 database.

Hi,

Yes it is correct oracle 9i comes with 3 cd's pack.
and 10g is comes with 1 cd pack.

and latest patch set for 10gr2 is 10.2.0.3 and for 10gr1 is 10.1.0.5
