IMP ORACLE10G FILE (Materialized view problem) [message #249614]

Dear All,

Can anybody help me to import 10g dmp file without problem in materialzed view. Because when I import file then materialized view shows data as a table but not show QUERY.

I want to show query of materialzed view.

Plz. help in this respect.

This has little to do with reporting, nor with the import file.

The query text of materialized views can be found in the all_mviews data dictionary view (column query).

If you are using a tool such as Toad or PL/SQL Developer, you can easily see the query text.

The same goes for views by the way, the query text is to be found in all_views.text.

Thanks for your suggestion.

I already use Toad / PL SQL Developer
and also check from data dictionary but the behavious of materialized views is like 'TABLE' not Materialized views.

Please suggest in this respect

Unless I'm wrong, TOAD will display a materialized view both in the Tables section and in the Snapshot section. So, did you check Snapshots in TOAD and see what's written in there?
