I am doing out bound interface , I am getting flat file without column headings
how to get the column headings in flat file
what we have to write in coding for this

What do you exactly do?
What is "out bound interface"?
I use SQL*Plus and spool and get column headings.

What type of file you are generating ? (eg *.csv,*.dat)

Are you using UTL_FILE in your outbound interface ?
