hi

i need a procedure takes select query as in arg and clob as out parameter

like

proc p(select_query in varchar2,clob_out out clob)
exec p('select * from emp',x)
ooutput should be like

empno ename sal
100 aaa 1000
200 sss 2000

Output of what?
Don't you want the output in the CLOB?
Or what is the purpose of the CLOB?

out of sql query as clob datatype variable .and returns that clob file contents

go to AskTom and enter print_table.
You will have the source of a procedure that out the result of a query.
Change the output to a CLOB assignment.

I hope you realize that you cannot actually do anything with the output, other than printing it as is?
You cannot format any columns, pick columns, reorder etc.
