hello friends,
i didn't understand as to
1.what is reverse key index and how does it work.
2.where is it appropriate to use.
if suppoted with an example i would be obliged.

If you go to the home page of this Oracle Fac site, select the "Manuals" under "Education".
Next go to "Oracle Manuals/Product References" and select "Oracle Database On-Line Manuals". Choose the Oracle8i or Oracle9i documentation, next enter "reverse key index" in the search box. Look in the "Concepts" and "Administrator's Guide" manuals, there you'll find info about this matter.
