Sir,

I am working in the oracle reports 10g , when the records contains more than 4000 then , i am not able to generate the report in the excel format (ie) error as been raised "report engine crashed" please answer me

See physical configuration of server. Oracle report engine needs memory to generate reports and maybe memory doesnot satisfied the requirement.

Can you let me know how to generate a report in excel.i dont need formating of the report i.e no layout model
