Hi Gurus,

I am new to oracle server. I want to learn how can we use export utility in oracle 8.0.3.0.0. My target is to export only the new records/tables/triggers/procedures and changed things not the entire tables in which records have been modified or added.

right now I am using following command:

export: exp80 inv/inv FILE=C:\INC\SLVINC FULL=Y INCTYPE=INCREMENTAL

import: IMP80 INV/INV FILE=C:\INC\SLVINC FULL=Y IGNORE=Y

which exports the entire tables in which changes have been made.

Can anyone help me in this matter?

Regards,

Manoj Aggarwal

NO!
V8 has not been supported any time this century.
exp does not support any viable incremental capability.

How does that work!!! I think you are making wrong. Export does not support incremental.
