I am going split hairs, because term/words matter.
I just look on http://tahiti.oracle.com in the online "Master Index" for "cursor".
I could find any entry for "Reference Cursor".
The closest was "REF CURSOR"
While I am beating this dead horse, I'd like to know whether a "Normal Cursor" is an implicit cursor, explicit cursor or some other flavor of cursor.

I suggest the OP visit URL above & spend some time Reading The Fine Concepts Manual & trying to enlighten himeself.
