HAI FRIENDS,

I AM WRITING UPDATE STATEMENT IN MY PROCEDURE USING FOR LOOP CURSOR.

I WANT TO CHECK THE STATUS OF UPDATE THEN INSERT INTO SUCCESS TABLE.

SO MY PROBLEM HOW TO CHECK THE STATUS OF UPDATE.

do you want to update the existings rows?and insert the rows not exits?

use merge statement in your procedure.
it will update the existing rows and insert the non existed rows.
