My connectivity with both services are working. after mounting up the standby database when i try to cancell the recovery by issuing command ALTER DATABASE RECOVER MANAGED STANDBY DATABASE then i got following error:-
ORA-00283 RECOVERY SESSION CANCELED DUE TO ERROR
ORA-01110 DATAFILE1 'D:\ORACLE\ORADATA\RAJESH1\SYSTEM01.DBF'
ORA-01157 CANNOT IDENTIFIE/LOCK DATAFILE1 -SEE DBWR TRACE FILE
ORA-01110 DATAFILE1 'D:\ORACLE\ORADATA\RAJESH1\SYSTEM01.DBF'
and when i query "SELECT DEST_ID,DEST_NAME,STATUS FROM V$ARCHIVE_DEST_STATUS;
then i got LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_2
ERROR and also when i query the ERROR COLUMN THEN I GET DETAILS OF ERROR AS "ERROR ORA-16032: parameter STANDBY_ARCHIVE_DEST destination string cannot translated"
I have check the path for archiving destination that also sound to be right. below is pfile for my primary and standby database

Did you create service??

Log_archive_config=’DG_CONFIG=(primary,standby)’
Log_archive_dest_1=’Location=c:\oracle\backup
VALID_FOR=(ALL_LOGFILES,ALL_ROLES)
db_unique_name=primary’
Log_archive_dest_2=’Service=to_standby
VALID_FOR=(ONLINE_LOGFILES,PRIMARY_ROLE)
db_unique_name=standby’
Log_archive_dest_state_1=ENABLE
Log_archive_dest_state_2=DEFER

kEEP THE second dest defer until ur full configuration of standby.

take a look on file.
