Aha!! This is it. I had a duplicate definition of my PLSQL table both in the package and in the calling procedure. This is why it did not work. Now that I based it on the procedural datatype definition, things are working. Thanks to you Todd and all the other guys who chipped in. Tell me, besides experience, is there any other way I should have known this? I searched vast amounts of documentation on the internet with no success.
