Dear friends,

My oracle version is 10 G.
I have a table vactype,this table contains vac id column have null values.i want to create an index in vac id column is possible create index in null vac id column?

Any body help me.

For B*Tree indexes, if all index columns are null, value is not stored.
For bitmap indexes, null are stored.
You can also create function based index (FBI) with the function you want and so may include nulls (only useful if you use the same expression in your query).

Maybe other things are possible but depends on your final need.
