Can one tell me that in which table of data-dictionary the package,procedure and functions are stored.And how can i see those objects from the table using a select statement.I am using oracle 10g as my database.

You can view the source of objects in the user/all/dba_source views.

Hi,

You use user_objects data_dict for all objects like procedure,fuction,trigger etc.

select object_name,text from user_objects where object_name = <object_name>;

Thank u.I have got the package specification.But how can i get the body.Plz tell me the procedure to finiding out the package body from the data_dict table.

Thanks.My problem is solved.But whatever mr. umesh suggested is still going wrong.I will ask him to justify it .

sorry i am wrong user_source is the right data_dict
